Obituary: Patricia A. Sherman

Patricia A. Sherman, born to Christie A. and Maxine Hansen on Dec. 8, 1934, in Spencer, Iowa, has gone to rejoin her family according to God's Plan on July 5, 2007, in Prescott Valley, Ariz. Patricia was a daughter, cousin, wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Patricia worked in the Registrar's office at Yavapai Community College and retired from First Interstate Bank after many years of service to open her own fabric shop.

She was a seamstress who loved to quilt, knit, crochet and create. Patricia was a member of the Toastmasters, Lioness Club, Lonesome Valley Quilt Guild, Nite Stitchers Club and was also a member of the American Sewing Guild where she made clothes for Dress a Child and blankets for the TIP program as well as many other projects.

Patricia is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Mary and Mike Rubens; granddaughter Christie Osburn; and the children of her son Chris: Jacqui, Valerie, James and Breydon.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son William Chris Sherman and what a joyous reunion that she shared with her family. She was loved and will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.

A Celebration of Life Service in honor of Patricia will be 2 p.m. Friday, July 13, 2007, at the Prescott Valley United Methodist Church with Inurnment at Heritage Memorial Park in Dewey, Ariz.
