High rollover rate

At about 1:30 a.m. Jan. 20, a 32-year-old man and 29-year-old woman suffered injuries when they rolled their Jeep about five miles west of Crown King on Bloody Basin Road, according to Mayer Fire Chief Glenn Brown. The couple started walking and eventually received a ride to Crown King around 10 a.m., Brown said. Crown King Volunteer Fire Department met a Mayer Rescue unit about 12 miles west of Crown King and transferred the injured couple to them. The couple complained of neck and back pain and Mayer Rescue took them to John C. Lincoln Deer Valley Hospital, according to Brown. Shortly after 1 p.m. the same day, Mayer Fire and Rescue units, in photo above, responded to a single vehicle rollover on Highway 69 near Bensch Ranch. A 31-year-old mn suffered injuries and MFD took him to John C. Lincoln North Mountain Trauma Center "for precautionary reasons," Brown said.
