New stamp's proceeds will aid domestic violence programs

PRESCOTT – The pain … sadness … perhaps a lost childhood … a broken or lost life.

A young girl has captured many emotions in her artwork piece on domestic violence.

The drawing was so powerful that it caught the eye of art director Carl T. Herrman who picked it for the stamp design that the U.S. Postal Service unveiled earlier this month in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness month.
