Only fools believe all is well in politics

Webster defines conspiracy as a plan formulated in secret by two or more to commit an unlawful, harmful or treacherous act for an evil purpose. Synonyms are collusion, connivance, machination, manipulation and cabal.

Millions of Americans believe that decision makers who have ulterior motives are conspiring in government, business, world affairs and society to eliminate individual liberty, our national sovereignty, our heritage, promote immorality and enslave people. With all that we read or hear via network TV, radio, the Internet and thousands of publications it is impossible to dispel many conspiracy theories.

Some believe the culprits are the United Nations, communism, socialism, China, Russia, all liberals, Democrats, atheists, gays, even Republicans supported by multi-national power brokers. Pearl Harbor, President Kennedy's murder, the government's assault at Waco and Ruby Ridge, the bombing in Oklahoma City and thousands of events will continue to be subjects of conspiracy theories.

Is there an organized vast right wing conspiracy as Hillary Clinton stated or a vast left wing conspiracy as many conservatives believe? With unexplained questionable events taking place by the hour and so many powerful decision-makers influencing the direction of humankind, it is impossible to deny that the justification for believing in conspiracies.

Only a fool believes all is well in our country and that in the end justice will triumph and the United States will continue to be the greatest nation and the bastion of freedom forever.

Words from out of the past give us reason to question the present and the future. George Santayana said, "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." Richard Whately said, "He who is unaware of his ignorance will only be misled by his ignorance."

As we review history who can deny that these words do not relate to actual events and conditions that exist? "Corrupt the young, get them away from religion, get them interested in sex, make them superficial. Get control of all publicity and get people's minds off government focusing their attention on athletics, sex, plays and trivialities. Divide the people into hostile groups harping on controversial matters. Destroy the people's faith in natural leaders holding them up to ridicule, contempt and obloquy. Preach democracy but seize power as fast and ruthlessly as possible. Encourage government extravagance, destroy its credit, and produce fear with rising prices, inflation and general discontent. Forment strikes in industries, encourage civil disorders and foster a soft and lenient attitude on the part of government toward disorders. By specious argument cause the breakdown of old moral virtues: honesty, sobriety, continence, and faith in the pledged word. Cause the registration of all firearms on pretext, with the view of confiscating them, leaving the people defenseless."

Those are the words of Vladimir Ilich Lenin (1870-1924), founder of the Russian revolution and the Soviet Union where communism slaughtered even more millions than Adolph Hitler's Nazi Germany. Atheist Lenin also stated, "Justification of God is justification of reaction. Speaking the truth is a petty bourgeois prejudice. A lie is often justified by the end." Lenin's protégé, Josef Stalin, stated, "Those who cast the votes decide nothing. Those who count the votes decide everything."

Wake up America, there are too many unanswered questions, millions of classified government documents, too much political and government secrecy. A free citizenry is an informed citizenry. God save our Republic!
