The Prescott Elks Lodge had its annual Hoop Shoot Free Throw Contest on Dec. 12.
The schools in Prescott and Prescott Valley had contests with the first-place winners shooting at the Lodge event.
The winners from the Saturday event included, Connor Aiken from Taylor Hicks, first place in boys ages 8-9; Brandi Peterson from Taylor Hicks, first place in girls, ages 8-9; Brent Sherwood from Glassford Hill Middles School, first place in boys ages 10-11; and Alyssa Vendegna from Taylor Hicks, first place in girls ages 10-11.
They will now go on to the district contest Jan. 30 in Winslow.
