On Nov. 21, The Camp Soaring Eagle Foundation hosted its first family retreat at "The Ranch" in Cornville. Families who have been impacted by childhood cancer and other juvenile illnesses enjoyed a weekend in the Wild West at the famous Ranch, courtesy of Earl Weatherwax. The children and parents enjoyed a variety of activities including archery, paddleboating, horse-drawn wagon rides, roping and eating an authentic chuck wagon supper around a campfire.
The Red Rock Quilters gave each of the campers a hand-made, one-of-a-kind quilt to take with them. Each quilt had a special message to the campers.
