Ashley Colleen Storm and Michael Marcial Pierce were united in marriage Sept. 24, 2009, with a ceremony and reception at Regency Gardens in Mesa, Ariz. Pastor David Robinson officiated.
Ashley is the daughter of Lee and Diane Storm of Prescott Valley, Ariz., and Michael is the son of Norma Pierce of Queen Creek, Ariz.
Ashley, given in marriage by her parents, wore a strapless white gown accented with waist sash and crystals. Her shoulder-length veil was lined with crystals. She carried a bouquet of white roses and daises. Terrina Storm, sister-in-law of the bride, was maid of honor; Alyssa Pierce, daughter of the groom, was flower girl.
Chad Storm, brother of the bride, was best man, and Aaron Storm, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer, and they along with father of the bride wore black tuxes with mermaid-green vests and ties. The groom wore a black tux with a mermaid-green tie.
Ashley and Michael celebrated unity by combining mermaid-green and black sand into a crystal vase given by the brides' grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Nygaard of Minnesota.
The couple honeymooned in Scottsdale and are residing in Queen Creek.
