11/4/2009 9:55:00 PM Rash of car burglaries hits Paulden
The Daily Courier
Yavapai County Sheriff's Office deputies responded Tuesday to six vehicle burglaries in Paulden's Rimrock subdivision, just off of Old Highway 89.
Four unlocked vehicles parked along Hackamore Lane and two unlocked vehicles parked along Oxbow Circle were broken into some time after sundown Monday night and before sunrise Tuesday, said Dwight D'Evelyn, media and crime prevention coordinator for the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies searched the neighborhood for witnesses and leads.
Items stolen from the vehicles include iPods, a digital camera, wallets, cash, a cell phone charger and checkbooks from Chase Bank and National Bank, the Sheriff's Office said. Deputies are still determining a complete list of items stolen.
Authorities ask anyone with information to contact the Sheriff's Office at 771-3260 or Yavapai Silent Witness to provide an anonymous report and become eligible for a cash reward should an arrest be made in this case.
The Sheriff's Office would also like to remind people to lock their vehicles and take their valuables inside their home, D'Evelyn said.

Catch Them, I am one who has a $300k north of Chino but I refuse to say I live in Paulden. If you want to tell people your from Paulden, at least put your teeth in before you do.

Thank you, I think, Idiots!!
They also got two cars in southern Chino Valley. Yes one was unlocked and a purse was taken. They tried to take out the radio and couldn't figure it out, even with the manual!!
The second one I know was 2 houses away and they slashed a soft-top and stole stuff.
I'd like to really thank these idiots for ruining someone's vacation as well as someone having to replace an expensive soft-top.
The Sheriff is looking for them with good detective work!!

HEY ISLAND RECLUSE- first learn how to spell refrigerator...you obviously don't know the entire town of Paulden. There are many areas that are $300,000+ homes. Those are the ones being hit. Who knows, with those comments maybe you are doing it?

Won't even slow down thru Paulden
Island Recluse. Just drive around Paulden. Everyone has at least one car. On blocks in the front yard that is. Along with a couch on the porch and a refridgerator leaning up against their trailer.

No name provided
If the cars were unlocked, then I wouldn't consider them "broken into". Lock your doors. Duh...

You can't leave your vehicle unlocked ANYWHERE any more. And don't forget to close your garage door!
