A.C. Williams, former longtime Prescott Parks and Recreation director and beloved state commissioner for the Arizona Amateur Softball Association, died Tuesday in his Prescott home, apparently from complications with diabetes and a heart ailment, according to family members. He was 85.

Jon Meyer can hardly contain himself he is so excited about changes at Prescott Fine Arts Association for the 2010-2011 season.
"I don't know where to begin," said Meyer, the executive director. "I guess first off, we're changing our name in September 2011."
he new name and logo, Prescott Center for the Arts, are displayed on PFAA's website, www.pfaa.net.
"It's on the website now because we wanted people to start getting used to seeing PCA," Meyer said. "We delayed changing the name instead of shocking them right away."
