The Daily Courier
The Bradshaw Mountain footbal team's Class 4A, Division I state title hopes were kept alive Saturday, while area rival Prescott High's ended.
BMHS earned the 12th seed in the 16-team tourney. The Bears will play at No. 8 seed Peoria on Friday at 7 p.m.
The Badgers finished 18th.
Bradshaw Mountain played Peoria in the Valley earlier this season, losing 35-22.
BMHS coach Chuck Apap said his team did well against the run in the first matchup, but could have done better against the pass.
He also pointed to a pair of turnovers in the loss.
"We can't do that again if we want to win," he said.
Read Friday's Daily Courier for an in-depth game preview.

Sorry to say but Peoria is No. 5 not 8.
BMHS can beat this team. They need to come to play and play hard. ... Good luck boys you can do it.
