These stories need to get out more and more. We are losing WW2 vets at a very high rate, day after day. Their oral histories need to be told and recorded for prosperity! I've met many American and German pilots over the years and all have incredible stories to tell. Thank you Mr Scott for your service and thank you Mr Stukenberg for profiling this great man.

Mr. Scott, Words cannot express the debt of gratitude we younger generation owe to men like you. My father in-law was a B-17 pilot who was shot down over Germany. He spent 3 years in various prison camps before being liberated. The good Lord was looking after him just like he looked after you. I wish you nothing but the best.
