The Daily Courier
Sen. John McCain will be in Prescott on election eve, according to the Yavapai County Republican Party.
He plans to attend the party's annual Victory Rally at approximately 9 p.m. Monday on the historic courthouse plaza. The rally starts at 6 p.m. and typically attracts Republican elected officials from around the state.
McCain's campaign officials and Republican National Committee officials could not confirm for The Daily Courier Thursday that McCain would attend the event.
However, Yavapai County Republican Party Chair Jan Smith said McCain's advance team confirmed the event with her on Thursday, so the county party announced the visit on its website.
McCain was on the same courthouse steps in April during his "Service to America Tour," which touted sites across the country that have had a significant impact on his values.
"Prescott is where our beloved Barry Goldwater formally began his Senate campaigns and his campaign for the presidency on the steps of the Yavapai County Courthouse," McCain said during his April speech. "As his successor and in deference to his tradition, I have ended all my Senate campaigns here.
"Prescott, Arizona's territorial capital, occupies a special place in the history of Arizona, and in the Goldwater legend."

The Big If...
is if Obama loses (which I believe he will) how will his followers react? The general consensus is that they will riot, burn their own neighborhoods, shoot white people, violent protests, etc, etc.
I think that speaks volumes about what kind of person Obama is and what sort of idealism he represents

Looks at the facts
Yes, I am gonna try going, McCain is a good guy. He doesn't murder innocent babies. and the soldiers in Iraq have instinct and guns. At least they have had a life and know what their doing. And they chose to go. Look a the facts wisely. If I could vote I would totally vote for McCain. The only problem is that I'm only 15. =(

We need Obama's change in our country like I need a sharp stick in my eye! You tell me to wake up and vote for Obama or else. I say the exact opposite. A vote for Obama is a vote for socialism and destruction of freedom. Vote McCain!!

Oh, Cry Me A River!
I don't believe Obama is a Muslim terrorist, either. I do believe he is a political puppet who will say and do whatever the highest bidder asks of him. Once again, what qualifies him to be the next president? NOTHING!
I expect the typical,loud-mouth liberal response at the midnight rally. They'll show up and be rude and disruptive because how dare anyone voice an opinion other than theirs. I can't stand Obama and most Dems, but I would not disrupt one of their speeches. If you can't be right, be wrong at the top of your voice! BOO-YAH!

This is an important event in our nation's history.
Prescott should be honored that John McCain is counting on Prescott as soft place to land in his own state, as his last stop before voting day.
Quiet, private conservatives should come out in force to show loud mouthed liberals that they are not a majority.
Regardless of one's political affiliation, Prescott should show John McCain the support and respect he so deserves for his life of service to our country.

Common Sensible
I have seen many of the type of trailer guys like that around, when legitimately disabled people are unable to get the benefits they so desperately need. and yes I think this low-life is serious, and that is exactly why we should all vote for McCain because this guy is exactly what a socialistic government will bring about in huge numbers. It is like that all over Europe, especially in France and Germany because spreading the wealth creates the I don't give a darn attitude and break the back of the will to succeed. why work when the government will buy you a case of beer each night so you have more excuses for not getting a real job? This guy needs to get off his behind and earn his own money not share mine.

Chino Valley Joke??
Chino Valley trailer guy, I hope that you are kidding and just trying to make a point! If not I am so sad that the government only pays for a cheap case of beer in the evening so that you don't have to work and "come home tired". We sure wouldn't want you to come home tired after working and being part of a functioning society. Come on now this kind of lazy leeching off of society is shameful!! Get a bike and ride to chino and get your lazy butt to work!! I sure hope voting was to great a burden upon your schedule because your type of vote will ruin this country

Dear chino valley person RWA2@CFL.RR.COM. How dare the republicans expect you to get a job and make the money for your own movies and BEER!! What is this country coming to. How dare they not force ME to pay to abort ("get rid of" like taking out the garbage) of your neice or nephew. Give me a break. Take some responsibility for your own choices and GET A JOB just like the rest of us. I'm 55 and few years has my home made near 30,000 often far less. This year was under 15,000 and hubby was laid off two weeks ago from his roofing job. We live well... don't spend money we don't have and OWN a nice home. It's called being RESPONSIBLE. Sit around watching movies and getting drunk on your own money not mine!!
