Holst re-retiring after leading county through major building projects

The Prescott Unified School District Governing Board learned at their meeting Tuesday that Prescott residents surveyed about a possible bond/override election in November indicated that a $20 million bond had a better chance of passing than a $30 million bond and both had more support than a $10 million override.

Rodeo Dance does a two-step to new locale on Iron Springs Road
A July 4 tradition that dates back about two decades will see a shakeup this year, when the annual dance that accompanies the Frontier Days Rodeo will move from its downtown location to Iron Springs Road.

J.C. Trujillo, general manager of the Frontier Days Rodeo, reported recently that the dance will move from its traditional spot in the Depot Marketplace (Albertsons) parking lot on Sheldon Street, to the Windsock Lounge/Goodwill Prescott Towne Center parking lot at 1365 Iron Springs Road.
