ERAU professor shares tales of a combat advisor in Iraq

In 2010, U.S. Army pilot Jerry Kidrick, then in the Alaska National Guard, was tasked to lead a team of combat advisors in Iraq.

Kidrick, now the chairman of the Flight department at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, spent 16 months advising the Iraqi army on how to deal with insurgents and acting as a liaison between U.S. and Iraqi officials.
