Meet Ben. Ben is an outgoing, talkative 7-year-old. He lives with his mother, his dog and cat and two robots. One of Ben's favorite things to do is eat, especially "sugary stuff!" According to Ben, "Candy is yummy and lettuce is gross."
Ben likes music. He has a guitar, drum and keyboard but has yet to learn how to play any of them. He loves to do arts and crafts and can cook a mean egg. He really enjoys building Legos and taking things apart. He wants to be a basketball player or race car driver when he grows up. He's been on many sports teams; his favorite sport is basketball. He also loves to read. He'd like to learn how to ride a bike. Ben is up for almost anything. He does well in school and is a grade ahead in math and language Arts.
Do you remember who taught you ride a bike? Someone who inspired you and helped shape the person you are today? Imagine how different your life would be had you not had that relationship. You be that person to someone like Ben.
