The correct answer for this past week's "What is it, where is it?" is: a sculpture at the Prescott Valley Civic Center, titled "Easy Rider," which was created by Sherman Rouse. Our hint was: "A 'rouse' on wheels; easy with this one." At the end of the month, we'll put all of the names of the weekly "What is it, where is it?" winners together and one will win a prize from the Courier's prize stash. The winner - with the first, correct answer - this past week is Fernando Gonzalez of Dewey. Congratulations, Fernando. Incorrect answers from this past week included "a sculpture in Prescott Valley." Keep guessing, and remember to give "what" it is and "where" it is. |

The Daily Courier's Community Page on Tuesdays features "What is it, where is it?" - photos from the local area that we encourage readers to figure out.
The first person to call or e-mail with the correct answer will get their name in the paper the next week along with a more easily recognizable photo of the same scene. Each winner's name will go into a drawing for a prize that month. Correct respondents will be eligible for the prize only in the month in which they answer correctly.
Please call Managing Editor Tim Wiederaenders at 445-3333, ext. 1095, or e-mail twieds@prescottaz.com with your guess.
Be sure to include a contact number and where you live (Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, etc.).
