Yavapai County Sheriff's deputies arrested six people suspected of selling methamphetamine in Ash Fork on Dec. 10.
A Silent Witness caller alerted Sheriff's Office detectives to meth sales in Ash Fork and Kaibab Estates communities, said Dwight D'Evelyn, media coordinator for the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office.
Detectives from the Sheriff's Office special crimes unit went undercover in August to investigate meth sales with help from Prescott Area Narcotics Task Force and the Flagstaff Metro unit, D'Evelyn said.
In August, detectives bought meth from Michael Padilla, 42, twice in Ash Fork, according to officials.
In September, detectives bought meth from Judith Manley, 53, in Kaibab Estates. Manley obtained the drugs from Sonia Celaya, 41, D'Evelyn said.
In October and November, detectives bought meth from Casandra Manley, 30, D'Evelyn said. In November, Shanna Heidecker, 32, sold meth as part of a controlled buy.
On Dec. 10, detectives served search warrants at the suspects' homes and found cell phones, scales, pay/owe sheets, drug paraphernalia, cash proceeds, and packaging material.
Sheriff's Office detectives booked Casandra Manley into the Coconino County Jail on charges of drug possession and drug sales and four counts of child abuse. Child Protective Services took custody of Manley's children, D'Evelyn said.
Detectives booked Ligorio Saldana, 38, Casandra Manley's boyfriend, into the Coconino County Jail on charges of possession of dangerous drugs and weapons misconduct involving a recovered rifle.
Detectives booked Celaya into the Coconino County jail on three counts of possession of dangerous drugs for sale among other charges.
Detectives booked Judy Manley into the Coconino County Jail on two counts of possession of dangerous drugs for sale.
Detectives booked Heidecker into the Camp Verde Jail on several drug-related charges and two counts of possession of dangerous drugs for sale.
Detectives booked Padilla into the Camp Verde jail for several drug charges including two counts of possession of dangerous drugs for sale.

This is what it looks like when your personality and that soft side of you gets stripped away. Meth destroys lives. It can be fast or it can be slow.....but it ALWAYS destroys.

Mr. Padilla looks fairly content. The other five appear miserable. Meth is not the answer.

Donate their bodies to science or, spend $38,000 a yr to warehouse them. 6 $38,000 =$228,000 per yr. = $2,300,000 for ten years, their likely sentence.
PLUS the cost of trial/ defence... You are looking @ an additional $100,000 per defendant.
Result, Game over... The state loses.
Bye bye American lie.

What a Motley Crew. The punkish smirk on Michael Padilla's face might have him saying "It's ok, I'll be back on the streets in six months". Let's hope not!!!
