PRESCOTT - David Eisenberg, a recognized leader in green building issues, will headline an event of the Central Arizona Renewable Energy Network next month.
Set for 10 a.m. to noon, Dec. 5, at the Hassayampa Inn in downtown Prescott, the event will feature Eisenberg's insights on: "Beyond Green Building and Codes: Seeing a Bigger Picture."
According to a press release from CAZREN, Eisenberg, who serves as director of the Development Center of Appropriate Technology in Tucson, will focus on his experiences over the past dozen years of "working for deeper change in design, construction and building regulation."
Eisenberg's talk will include information about alternative building materials, water issues, appropriate technology, civic planning, and green energy and design.
The cost for the event is $25 at the door. A $5 discount is available for members of CAZREN, members of the Yavapai County Contractors Association, and those registering early (by Dec. 2). Admission for students and seniors older than 60 is $10. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m.
